It may be a surprise to most, but we actually have nights in Arizona in which it freezes. So, in the morning the sidewalk is slick as oil. So kids in agritopia are slipping left and right. After school Matthew and buddy Ben decided it was their duty to rid the streets of the dangerous ice.
They used poles, brooms, towels, hot water, anything they could come up with.
Once they made our sidewalk safe, they saw a capitalistic venture.
They went door to door with their sticks and poles, looking for customers.
I guess I should have thought about how that looked to the perspective customer. Even though they are small, boys with sticks....... well........ maybe not a good idea.  Needless to say. I was the only one who coughed up the $1.50. But no lawsuits in front of my house.
