Excited Grandpa.

Beautiful Grandma Jensen. Hostess.

My dearest friend Mandy made the trip from CA. Even 28 weeks prego.

Childhood Friend Addie. Friends since 3rd grade. My first day of school she let me warm my hands over the heater by her desk.

My amazing sister in law Amy. She said the sweetest prayer.

Just one of the amazing creations from my dear friend Erin. More on that later!!!

This is one of my dear sunday school girls. She was so proud of the project she had made. Her first sewing project.

Thats one handsome big brother! Ready for a cupcake huh boys?

Mrs Shelly, not only made this quilt, she helped plan this shower. She has been such a blessing to me through out this whole pregnancy.

You didn't think the young ones would escape with out a boat ride?

My beautiful Mom. She just made the shower such a fun afternoon.

Are these dresses awesome or what? Heirloom dresses from my mother in law. Grandma Coffelt. This girl is going to be classic.

I think we are excited. And I'm very puffy.

This is to be the going home dress. How cute??? And it looks so similar to the dress that I wore home from the hospital 34 years ago.

My other angel Cindy. She helped plan and create so many cute touches at this shower. She amazes me.

You didn't think I would forget the tin lizzy.

I love that the kids think they have to wear that hat in order to drive the Tin Liz. Its awesome.

Thanks to everyone who helped with this amazing celebration. This little girl is already so loved. And I didn't even get a picture of my Napa girlfriends who were able to make it. :( Thanks Brooke, Beth and girls.!!! It was such a blessing to see you!

Lets get this little baby out!

This is the beautiful lady that our little Rachel is named after. My sweet Grandma Rachel Genevieve.

My mom put out these sweet pictures of our family. And where Rachel Loring is getting her name from.

My mom's family name is Loring.  And yes, in the pinfold dress that is me.

This amazing cake was a surprise. It was beautiful.

The decor was like a tea party. It was so feminine and sweet.

Addie, my dear friend amazed us all with her awesome treats. Look at that spread.

No games. Project instead. Decorate a onesie or hat.

More pictures to come.............

Nerf guns were the big hit this past Christmas. But now there is a new gun in town.

James returned from Home depot with $5 worth of pvc piping.

Taught the boys how to cut, connect and sand down their weapon.

And the blow nerf dart gun was born.

Hours of fun. And I'm amazed how far they can shot these nerf bullets.

Of side note. Yes, Matt did ask me if he could put a rock in his blow dart system. We then had a long conversation about what is appropriate to put in this gun.

Well, a few days later, James thought it would be funny to put an acorn in one and shoot it at one of the boys as they were leaving the park. Honestly it was a good 100 yards away. He just wanted to spook him a little.
WELLLLLL, it did hit him in the back of his head. (softly, don't worry)
BUT the reaction from this guy is awesome.
He turned around, threw up his arms and yelled, "Really Mr Coffelt, REALLY?" and then walked away.
AWESOME.

Well, it almost all went up in flames. Yes thats right. For this item below. The rhino water purification system.

Assess the risks around this project. The burlap bag hanging on the wall is one.

This item was needed.

Thankfully James used his quick thinking and put the fire out. Yes that 's right. The garage went up in flames while installing this piece of water heaven.
After a few phone calls, one to Uncle Phill, we are confident all is well.
Word to the wise. Keep the extinguisher close.

BUT.... was it worth it? OH yeah. Our water is awesome!!! This is big news for Arizona water. I don't smell like a chlorine pool.

Matt has taken an extra interest in learning the violin. Which of course makes my heart happy. He has a good ear. So he has been practicing, little bits at a time.

Sometimes he invites me to practice with him. Its pretty fun. And a great review for me.

Don't look at his position Mom.... :( It was toward the end. I have fond memories of my mom playing alongside me. So its very motivating for me to get my act together and be prepared to help Matt when needed.

Sweet cousin Caitlin just sat and watched Matt practice.  It was so sweet. She was offered ipad playing time or any cartoon. But she choose to listen and watch. I think we might have another violin player on our hands.
