I watched Matt closely to see how he would do with Logan. A window into the next few months.  It was so adorable to see him take care of and play with Logan. He really liked the little guy.

BUT, honestly ... who wouldn't. Look at that little man.
These are the messes Grandma and Grandpa J allowed all week at their house. The boys built forts everywhere. Lots of talk about "my space".  Look at that mess. They were in HEAVEN. Grandparents are the best. This combined with dino chicken nuggets, the worlds best mac and cheese, daily treats and then of course a pirate's treasure chest that daily left them a surprise. It's no wonder they didn't want to come home. They LOVE it there. What could top this week? OH... i know... its in the next post. Starts with Tin.
OH yeah.. big news. Arizona can do fireworks. What will these guys be up to? Matt is really counting on a show.
All this activity is making a little elf tired.
We started a family tradition to pick out a hallmark ornament our first christmas together. Its going to be fun to see them through the years. This year Matt went for another comic book character. Spiderman.  Classic I guess. So take a look at his tree. This little elf asked James to take him to Lowes to buy his own fake tree for his room. He pulled out his left over birthday money and scored this tree for 8 dollars. He was so proud. He was happy to report its not as messy mom. Less cleaning for him. OR wait.... me.
