Something funny about Matt's stage of life. He actually really does care about what he wears and how his hair looks. The hair, must be pushed all forward. I offer regularly styling gel to add some variety. But NO. All forward. He did mention that perhaps next year for his school picture he might try some hair gel. For instance, he remembered to wear a different shirt for picture day other than his uniform. No other second grader did that. When he chooses his outfit, its always a collared shirt. He prefers only tennis shoes. No cute converses for him.
And what is even funnier to us lately is that he insists on going "business style" for school. Meaning he must button up his shirt to the top. James is always telling him to relax, "take it down a notch". So now we pick him up from school and tell him business hours are over, time to relax and unbutton. He loves it. So this is the picture of James giving Matt a hard time about the two button up.

But Matt is a proud double button wearer. There is no stopping him.
I can just see him in the future with a tie.

So for the first show and tell of the year. Business man decided to bring Einstein. Kinda risky. She is still a little unpredictable. But I am here to report she did great. I just wish that Matt left out the fun fact that she had an accident in our house.

Now.. yes.. I know... I know... what is matt doing sleeping on the floor. Well, he likes a "palette" sometimes. So here he sleeps. Don't worry the table is bolted to the wall. But the point is a boy and his dog. Einstein loves his Matthew.
