So J and I did a design on a dime, weekend warrior remodel of Matt's room. Obviously we had not painted his room, so it was a clean slate. Our only vision was a clubhouse/tree fort. And then all I could see is my 10 little pints of restoration hardware color samples. Hummm, with the new saw, and two gallons of home depot return's.. the magic began.
I love it. I can actually sit in there with no anxiety.
Yes.. he loved it. And there has been a few more fun additions. Nantucket huh? Kid heaven.
I love this recent shot of the best buddies.... and their big wins.
Thank you Beth!
We are so blessed to have been able to hang out in scottsdale for the week, hangin with sponge bob and floating in the lazy river. Sweet hook up.
We had a blast. As a family we just hung out, swam everyday, played tons of boardgames, and went for long bike rides, counting all the desert animals. It was just what we needed.
Found this old 1952 Schwinn. Registered in France at some point. It was free. James is going to restore it. I CAN'T WAIT to cruise the agritopia loop on this bike, with a basket... in a girly dress.
I love the pictures that James sends me while he is on the road. I know that gnome made him think of me and made him giggle. I wish I was there on rue de genevieve.
Well this year was a fifties diner. This is the car. I didn't take a good picture of the complete set we made. I turned out cute. This year I had to participate in the skit. Not my thing. Even if its just vbs. It was a small scale this year. But cute all the same.
