So around Grandpa Jensen's house all family must "solo" the boats. That means, solo the electric boat, the sail boat, the kayaks. You get it. Well, there is a training process and then testing process you must go through before you are written into the captains log book.
Matt has been practicing the electric boat this summer. And today he went for his three docking passes with Dad still on board. Once he passes this.. then he goes for his three docking passes alone. Big stuff.
So here he is practicing. He got 2/3. Still working. I'm thinking by the new year he will be solo. Its a great legacy to hand down to the kids. He feels pretty cool.
